Hummingbirds: Golden Flight Series

The Series that won TWO Blue Ribbons:For The 2018 La Jolla Art & Wine Festival I painted 65 new oils on gold leaf of a subject dear to my heart, Hummingbirds.  From local to South American species, my art studio came alive with a circus of revolving imagery.  

It was  joy to create and a complete surprise to win not only 'BEST OF SHOW', but 'BEST PAINTER'.
